How to incorporate a foreign-funded conference and exhibition company?

    To establish a conference and exhibition company in China, any foreign-funded enterprise must abide by Chinese laws and regulations. In addition, establishment of a conference and exhibition company must apply to the district commerce commission for foreign investment.
    Conditions for applying for establishment of a foreign-funded conference and exhibition company

    1. Investors' qualifications required: foreign investors must have the experience and achievements in hosting international exhibitions, professional exhibitions or international conferences

    2. Experience in hosting and undertaking various economic and technological exhibitions and conferences

    3. Foreign investors are allowed to establish a foreign-funded conference and exhibition company in the form of equity joint venture, contractual joint venture or wholly foreign-owned venture

    4. Supporting documents of a fixed place of business and necessary facilities

    5. Employees meeting the requirements

    6. A sound financial system, independent accounting, and assuming sole responsibility for its profit and loss
    Procedures for applying for establishment of a foreign-funded conference and exhibition company

    1. Investors shall, according to the approval jurisdiction, deliver the application materials on establishment of a foreign-funded conference and exhibition company to the district commerce commission.

    2. The district commerce commission will, pursuant to the relevant regulations, decide whether or not to approve, and issue the Foreign-funded Enterprise Approval Certificate if the establishment is approved or give reasons in writing if not.

     

    Materials required for applying for establishment of a foreign-funded conference and exhibition company

    1. Application Report

    2. Name Pre-approval Notice

    3. Foreign-funded enterprise contract and articles of association signed by the investors' authorized representatives

    4. Notarized and authenticated foreign investor's main body qualification certificate or identity certificate and their Chinese translations

    5. Foreign investor's bank credit rating certificate and its Chinese translation

    6. Investors' identity documents

    7. House ownership certificate and lease agreement
    Processing time
    The district commerce commission will, within 10 working days from the date of acceptance, decide whether or not to approve.
